Lisa’s ongoing body of portrait work is called the Universe Tribe. Glowing from within, these slightly abstracted figures show the universe we each carry inside of us, and help to convey the many ways in which we are all connected.
2015 – SERIES I:
based on the 7 chakras, the 4 elements, and powerful females of color.
2017 – SERIES II:
more characters reveal themselves in the order they see fit.
