Lisa McLymont, a creative multi-hyph with a Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design & Visual Communications from The Ohio State University, McLymont’s career as a self-taught artist started as a way to rouse herself from burnout in 2009. Her journey has included forays into drawing, painting, murals, sculpture, digital compositions, and jewelry design. Her portraits started in 2015 (10 years of faces!), and her mural work started in 2020. 

Lisa’s explores quiet in the flow of art making, applying a lens of curiosity while creating expressive work that connects worlds and offers doorways in to discovering one’s personal power. 

Lisa works full time as the Director of Creative & Brand Marketing Strategy at Equitas Health.

McLymont’s work has been in numerous group and solo exhibits in the Central Ohio area, and is working toward more exhibit and resident opportunities outside of Ohio. Her small family consists of her wife, Cat Sheridan, and our pet babes; Mona, Roscoe, & Ruthie
